UN Secretary-General receives LGW's recommendations at High-Level Segment
Mr. António Guterres receives the Good Will magazine with the LGW's recommendations on the theme of the event.
The Legion of Good Will (LGW) attended the 2019 edition of the High-Level Segment of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
This year, the conference discussed the theme “Empowering people and ensuring inclusiveness and equality" and was attended by government delegations, international agencies, authorities and civil society organizations.
On Thursday, 18, the LGW representatives handed over to the UN Secretary-General, Mr. António Guterres, a Portuguese edition of the Good Will magazine, which brings the organization's recommendations on the theme of the event, based on its broad experience in combating poverty and inequality through its initiatives in the areas of social assistance and education.

The Legion of Good Will is a Brazilian civil society organization with general consultative status in the Economic and Social Council since 1999 and associated with the UN Global Communications Department since 1994. This condition allows it to participate and contribute to the discussion of development themes proposed by the international body and its member countries.
